Triples Is Best presents: Unlucky + Roscoe Roscoe
Servant Jazz Quarters, N16 8JN , [Venue Details]Unlucky today share their debut single 'No God'. The London-based trio have caused a stir over the preceding 12 months playing shows in the capital to packed out crowds and creating a unique buzz.
The band will headline Servant Jazz Quarters in London on April 21st, with further dates to be added soon. Unlucky have previously supported Sorry, Moreish Idols and Lip Filler.
On the new single, the band say - "No God pulls listeners into a headspace of religious paranoia, where faith and consequence blur. Heavy bass synths anchor us in this wall of noise, with distorted vocals nightmarishly questioning our beliefs"
Unlucky's music is as weighty sonically as it is thematically. With a sound that merges scratchy guitars, gut-punching sub bass and dirty cassette textures with syncopated rhythms, their music draws on feelings of belonging, existentialism, self-destruction, and religious and societal hypocrisy. Formed by Patrick James Fitzroy, Tamsin Wickens, and Cameron Black, the band uses their collective experiences to form a sound that is visceral, unpredictable, and emotionally charged.
